WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:
In today’s digital age, information is more valuable than ever, and businesses are under constant threat from cybercriminals. Grow your skills as a cybersecurity leader and your paycheck by getting certified as a Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO). According to the EC-Council, CCISO-certified professionals can earn an average salary of $231,000 annually, which is significantly higher than the average salary for other cybersecurity certifications.
The CCISO is intended for information security executives (ex: IT Director, CIO, CTO, Cybersecurity Manager, Director, VP, etc.) aspiring to be CISOs by refining their skills and learning to align information security programs with business goals and objectives. This program also encourages existing CISOs to improve their technical and management skills as well as business procedures.
To be approved to take the CCISO exam without first taking certified training, you will need to show evidence and present verifiers to show that you have 5 years of experience in each of the five CCISO domains. If you have taken training, you must show 5 years of experience in 3 of the 5 domains to take the CCISO exam.

2024 MSU $100K Venture Capital Competition

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:
MSU’s Venture Competition is open to all MSU and UM students, faculty and staff, and recent alumni (10 years or less). All types of ventures are welcome, including but not limited to new products, services, non-profit ventures, and social impact focus.
This unique event will feature $100,000 in prize money as well as access to experienced entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and numerous network resources. Aside from monetary prizes, participants will receive valuable feedback from judges and capture the attention of investors, potential customers, and supporters.

MMEC’s Manufacturing Exceptional Leadership and Management Skills professional development program is designed to prepare leaders and managers to spearhead transformative impact for Montana’s manufacturers and the communities in which they operate. The program consists of eight, half-day sessions and is intended for high-potential individuals from the manufacturing sector and support organizations who are motivated to build or refresh their leadership and management skills. Participants meet once per week to promote long-term professional development, peer collaboration, and relationship building.
The Level 1 program offers a foundation of key leadership and management skills related to effective leadership styles, talent development, workforce engagement, communication, conflict resolution, supervisory behaviors, and performance management. Each hands-on experiential session will be integrated with a deep exploration of current manufacturing challenges and interactive discussion on how to address them. The Level 2 program will also be available for Level 1 alumni.
