The Last Mile Technology Training Program at Montana State Prison and Fair Chance Hiring

On November 14, 2023, the Alliance co-hosted a webinar with The Last Mile technology training program to help Montana tech employers discover resources available to support fair chance hiring. The Last Mile is an innovative technology training program supported by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte that aims to disrupt the cycle of incarceration through technology education. The Last Mile reduces recidivism by teaching justice-impacted individuals to create websites and full-stack web applications using industry-standard technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Express, and MongoDB as well as employability skills.
